Legendary horror director Tobe Hooper died yesterday. If you’ve never seen the original “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” do yourself a favor and watch it by yourself at night and breath it all in. It’s a pretty singular experience. Hooper also made a lot of crap over the course of his career, but TCM stands on its own. RIP.
