Marc Rzepczynski picked up his first save as a Mariner on Wednesday, and did so by striking out the only batter he faced on three pitches. I originally was going to look at how many Mariners pitchers had picked up a save with just one three-pitch strikeout, but that’s only happened five times in Mariners history. Instead, I looked at Mariners who have tallied a save with just three pitches thrown on less. Give it a try!
