The Rainiers lose two veteran leaders in the move, but overall this shouldn’t have any sort of major impact. Both players were likely last resorts at this point and the team also just acquired another big bullpen presence in David Phelps. Moving on.
The Mariners will look to even up the series with the Yankees tonight, sending rookie Andrew Moore to the mound. The Yankees will counter with CC Sabathia, who’s ran a 4.45 xFIP and 1.2 fWAR over 84 innings this season.
