Greetings and welcome to the Lookout Landing open thread for the Midsummer Classic aka the MLB All-Star Game, live from Miami (bienvenidos a Miami). Kick back, have a beer/cider/whiskey/La Croix or whatever, and take in the pageantry and silliness. Since the All-Star Game winner no longer decides home field advantage for the World Series, I hope there will be some more goofiness, fun match-ups, and less giving-a-hoot than in the previous few seasons. This is an exhibition game, after all, so let’s exhibit some antics, shall we?
