Tanner Roark vs. Sam Gaviglio

I feel like I keep watching the games thinking "well it can't get any worse than this" and then each game there is a new way in which it's worse. Oh, you think you've seen a starter put the game out of reach in the first inning? How about the starter and the reliever each dig equally large holes before the fourth inning? You think you've seen too many double plays? Here's seven more. Let's throw in some rain and an outfield that's as soggy as Drew Smyly's arm and put Nelson Cruz out there and see what happens.

I have no expectations for this game. Having Cano back didn't seem to have any effect on the slumping offense. There's no Cruz today, which is probably the right call since the yesterday outfield looked like the second task from the Triwizard Tournament. I'm just hoping Sam Gaviglio, Oregon State product and sweet little putto, doesn't have his arm fall off.
