You used to hit it to the warning track. Late night when the team was down 3 runs.

Robinson Cano sits another one out with quad issues and suddenly this team is lacking lefties? It's weird after years of featuring lefty-heavy lineups to be a bit heavier on the right handed power that Jack Z so craved. Speaking of Jack Z, hey it's Justin Smoak again, the player the Blue Jays acquired via waivers from the Mariners and then actually gave a contract to. Maybe it's an exchange rate thing, I don't know. If there's one thing Smoak can do, it's hit AAA pitching pretty well, which he did last night against the Mariners and will get the chance to do it again as the Mariners Warm Body Brigade tosses a Christian Bergman on the mound, whom I will refer to henceforth as Birdman. Fortunately for the Mariners, the Ta-rannah Blue Jays are bad and injured too and have Joe Biagini starting his second MLB game ever. Could be a wild one, folks. Enjoy!
