Our 24 hour regional nightmare of no baseball is finally over as the Mariners take on the Tigers in game one of a three game series in Detroit. Mean (but actually nice) Jean Segura makes his return to the lineup after recovering from a hamstring injury. It will be interesting to see where Taylor Motter ends up playing most in the following weeks and also to see what the heck the team does with Danny Valencia assuming he continues to suck like a vacuum at the plate. But, I must say, that is a mighty fine looking lineup even as Kyle Seager takes another day off to rest his sore hip.

It's a week of Mariners baseball in the Midwest in spring and neither team has a roof, so cross your fingers for no rain. All the rain is here in Seattle, after all.

And finally, a HAPPY FELIX DAY to you and yours.
