We Need Your MaiLLbag Questions

Plus the best Mariner birthday celebrations that I could think of.

My birthday is October 12. Just saying.
The Seattle Times

Well, Lookout Landing faithful, we’ve not only made it through the first wave of spring training games, we’ve also made it (more or less) through the first true off-day of the year. This gives us a good chance to pause, relax, and most importantly, give us the questions you’ve been dying for us to answer.

So leave your questions down below in this here comments section.

But you’ve already clicked on the link, so while I’ve got you here, inspired by a certain mariachi band from yesterday...

Most Memorable Birthdays in Mariners History

  • Kyle Seager turned 27 on November 3, 2014, and a day later was greeted with:
  • Evelyn Jones turned 108 on July 11, 2015, and celebrated by throwing a first pitch for the ages.
  • The Mariners celebrated John Olerud’s birthday in 2001 with a record-setting performance! (Trigger warning if you get squeamish over losing 12-run leads.)
  • Scott Servais spent his first birthday with the Mariners...being forgotten about.

Stefen clearly forgot it was Scott’s special day. Bad Stefen!

And one more special birthday...

  • Felix Hernandez turns 31 on April 8, 2017. In his career, he’s made 359 career starts...yet none of them have been on his birthday. UNTIL THIS YEAR. Assuming he appears on Opening Day and isn’t injured, he’s currently slotted to start in Anaheim against the Angels in the team’s 6th game of the year. Perhaps this will join the others on the M’s Birthday Pantheon!

Let me know if I missed any Mariner Birthday Spectaculars, and don’t forget to leave your MaiLLbag questions below as well!
