Today the Mariners take on the Brewers, another NL team they won’t see during the regular season. Top prospect Lewis Brinson isn’t in the lineup and I’m kind of bummed; maybe he’ll make an appearance later on. Side note: I’m really glad I don’t have to type Kirk Nieuwenhuis’s name on a regular basis. I find all those vowels so much harder to locate properly than the Polish smorgasbord of Scrabble’s name.
Lineups!

Also available as pitchers: Rzepczynski, Hagadone, Kiekhefer, Scribner, Weber, Brett Ash, Anthony Misciewicz oh my gosh I can’t believe I spelled that right on the first try. These folks better C the Z because they certainly have the alphabet cornered.
Today’s reserve player you haven’t heard of: Donnie Walton. If you keep up with Ethan’s excellent minor league coverage, Donnie Walton should ring a bell. If you don’t, he probably sounds like a member of a boy band. The second base prospect had a solid year last year at short-A Everett, slashing .281/.361/.421, and was named a NWL Mid-Season All-Star.
Game Time: 1:05 PM
Television? It’s the Mariners and the Brewers, what do you think?
Radio: Yes, but on a delay on 710 ESPN; also available on MLB.com, Mariners.com, whatever. I think I might give the Brewers radio feed a try because when else am I going to listen to a Brewers game this year?
