Good morning everybody! Today Mariners position players will join pitchers and catchers in Peoria which means we are that much closer to the first pitch of 2017. The first game of Spring Training is now only a week away!
In the meantime, here’s what has been going on in Mariners camp and around the league.
In Mariners news...
- In the latest internet scandal, Adam Lind may have farted.
- Thyago Vieira has been getting a lot of buzz so far around camp.

Around the league...
- Paul Swydan suggests it may be time to worry about Ian Kinsler even though he is coming off one of the best years of his career.
- Goose Goosage went on another crazy rant; this time it was about bullpen pitchers being used for only one inning.
- Yankees first baseman Tyler Austin has fractured his foot and is expected to miss about six weeks.
- Cincinnati is hoping for a bounce back year from Ryan Raburn as they have signed him to a one-year deal.
Adam’s pick...
- My friends and I are in Vancouver, BC for the weekend, so any hot tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
- This video is pretty old, but I saw it for the first time on the drive up here. If you haven’t seen it, take a look.
