Folks. We’ve made it. We are summiting the mountain of the 2017 Major League Baseball season. For us Mariners fans, it’s been a rough journey. We lost a lot of good people, arms, legs, hamstrings, and elbows along the way. Chris knows.

These two teams today, though? They’ve got nine innings left (or perhaps 10 or 11) to decide who gets the title of World Series Champion. The Dodgers have been there before. The Astros have not.

It’s Yu Darvish versus Lance McCullers for all the dang marbles. Here are the lineups for the final baseball game of 2017:

Today's Lineups

HOUSTON ASTROS LOS ANGELES DODGERS
George Springer - CF Chris Taylor - CF
Alex Bregman - 3B Corey Seager - SS
Jose Altuve - 2B Justin Turner - 3B
Carlos Correa - SS Cody Bellinger - 1B
Yulieski Gurriel - 1B Yasiel Puig - RF
Brian McCann - C Joc Pederson - LF
Marwin Gonzalez - LF Logan Forsythe - 2B
Josh Reddick - RF Austin Barnes - C
Lance McCullers - RHP Yu Darvish - RHP

Game time: 5:20 PM PDT

TV: FOX

LLers, it’s been an honor and a privilege writing for this site for my first full season, and I don’t say that to be trite or cliche. Lookout Landing has been a part of my daily online experience since 2009 and it’s still my favorite thing on the stupid internet. Thank you to everyone over the years who have made it such a fantastic community. Baseball is the best and most noble sport, may it long live. Go Mariners.
