Houston tries to stay alive against a surging Yankees team

After getting out to a hot start in Houston, the Astros proceeded to drop the next three games of the series in New York, watching their offense go AWOL and their bullpen completely melt down. Tonight Justin Verlander will try to hold off the surging Yankees and keep Houston’s playoff hopes alive another day.

The game starts now on FS1. If the Yankees win, they will head for the World Series against the Dodgers, who disposed of the Cubs handily last night thanks to a three-homer game from Kike Hernandez.
