After an excruciating couple games yesterday, the Orioles and Blue Jays will conclude their series today in Toronto at 4:07 PM PT. Meanwhile, this morning in Detroit...
Today's Indians-Tigers game has been postponed. Will be made up on Monday, if necessary.

Dandy. The potential wild-card scheduling implications of this are an absolute boondoggle, and while I am essentially always for #TeamChaos in sports, as it often seems affiliated with #TeamFun, this particular situation does offer a semi-off day for Detroit right now which is annoying, and especially deincentivizes Cleveland to play anyone competent Monday for rest purposes.
Then again, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
For a bit of positivity after the frustrating series of events since the end of yesterday’s Mariners win, this (now likely slightly adjusted, but not significantly) projection was heartening, even if it is still a long shot.
According to @FiveThirtyEight if every favorite won every game from now here are standings.

Det 89-73
Toronto 88-74
Sea 88-74
Bal 86-76
Regardless, today does feature a game of import to the M’s, and blessedly we are rooting for the team NOT starting Ubaldo Jiménez. Marcus Stroman takes the ball for Toronto’s punch-happy rascals, and will attempt to keep Baltimore from tying them for the 1st WC spot.
FiveThirtyEight Projection: 57% Toronto Win.
Go Condor, Go Benoit, Go Smoak,
Go Ms.
