9/26: Open Game Thread

Crunch time.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the end times. It is the final week of regular season baseball, with seven games left to determine if next Monday will be the last we see of this game in the Pacific Northwest until next April. As frustrating as last weekend was, the Mariners essentially get a second go around, with the same three starting pitchers lined up against them in Houston, and a slightly dinged up Carlos Correa. Hisashi Iwakuma has been surprisingly good in 41 career innings in Minute Maid Park. Likely more importantly, he has been good all of 2016, will hopefully be solid again tonight. The Mariners offense will have to dig deep within themselves and find a way to make an adjustment to the mystical arts of Collin McHugh and his fabled "changed up" pitch.
