Tai vs Hector Santiago in a day where nothing feels important

It's a Sunday morning in Seattle. Baseball has lost a young superstar, and the sun shining down just doesn't seem appropriate; neither does watching a baseball game. Nothing feels like it should matter today in the world of baseball. We've already been given too much to process for one day. But the Mariners will march on, attempting to make the playoffs against the odds. Last night's loss to the Twins may have sealed their fate for good, but technically there's still a chance and that is good enough for some.

In the game that a much larger percentage of Seattle will watch, the Seahawks will be playing at home today against the rival 49ers and former Pac-12 darling Chip Kelly. Russell Wilson is banged up, the offensive line is the embodiment of swiss cheese, and we're sure to lose this game we absolutely should win.
