Where were you when the Ben Gamel era started?

After a road trip that could best be described as an endless loop of "Man Getting Hit By Football," the Mariners return to Safeco Field to try to get the remaining bits of their dignity to fall on the countertop instead of the floor (it's too much to ask it to land butter-side-up). For fortitude in their task, they have called up recent acquisition Ben Gamel, who possesses excellent closing speed in the outfield and a mane best described as Aslan-esque. They have also called up Jesús Sucre to be the shot in the arm this team needs offensively. Joking aside--Sucre has been hot lately in Tacoma, and it'll be nice to see his arm behind the plate again. Also, with the departure of Luis Sardiñas, the Mariners were really hurting at the position player pitcher spot.
