The Jackson Generals and the Mississippi Braves square off in Game Three of the Southern League championship tonight. The Generals, victorious in the first two games of the series, are just one win away from winning the whole damn thing.
As I type this, the game is in the top of the third inning with Jackson winning, 4-1. The Generals sent ten batters to the plate in the first inning, vaulting out to an early lead. Starting pitcher Paul Blackburn has struggled a little in the early frames, but he’s limited the damage to just one run.
Get on in here and join us as we cheer on the Generals as they try for their first league title since 2000. I’ll be providing regular updates. Gameday link here.
