Have no some fear, Vogelbach is here. The Mariners have the league-leading offense in September with a whopping 7.1 runs per game, and have added their most powerful hitting prospect this side of the Mississippi. Whatever your feelings on Adam Lind, it is unfortunate that during his best two weeks of baseball this year he sustained an injury.
Adam Lind expected to miss 3-4 days with sprained finger, plus other #Mariners notes. https://t.co/qSRQGmSKWr pic.twitter.com/MfBrSCwWUW

The Mariners now have the most massive (and mass-containing) 1st base platoon in the league, and them boys can hit. There is never an easy game to have your first start, but Alex Meyer and his 7.71 ERA/5.57 FIP through two base on balls laden starts seems as kind a welcome as one could hope for. Considering Taijuan Walker, adjustments or not, if things go well, will have to pitch to Mike Trout at least three times tonight (which hasn't gone great...) we may need to get right after Meyer tonight.
Some good stuff is happening at the time of this post for those of you engaging in scoreboard watching, so let's hope the M's can continue to take advantage.
