Welcome to Wednesday Night Baseball in Los Angeles Anaheim. The foul, pagan sacrifices of Scott Servais have, as of yet, proven unsuccessful in warding against injury, and as such it will be Cody Martin starting tonight's game for the Mariners instead of James Paxton. Martin will have Joe Wieland ready as his second in case he faces early struggles or falls in a duel.
Cody Martin will start on Wednesday for the Mariners. Joe Wieland will be long relief

This is not an ideal time to march out Tacoma's finest-looking, but hey, that's who the Mariners have right now. He'll face Tyler Skaggs, a lefty who is fresh off a trouncing by Cleveland, and was well touched up by the Mariners a week and a half ago, in the Shawn O'Rally homer game.
The Mariners are a decent baseball team that could be a good baseball team if they have their good players healthy. The Angels are a bad baseball team who do not have several of their good players healthy. Even with some tough luck last night, the bullpen should be better, the hitting should continue to be good, and maybe Cody Martin will be too.
Go Ms.
Go Biz.
