It's Saturday evening, and while there's been football today, there's also baseball; Mariners baseball! The M's are in Oakland for the second game of their series, and Hisashi Iwakuma will be taking on Kendall Graveman.
Iwakuma has been excellent of late, striking out 15 over his last two starts and not allowing a run. The lowly A's should be no match for our Japanese important, especially with Graveman on the hill. Graveman was acquired in the Josh Donaldson trade before last season began, and he's yet to live up to his billing as a quality back-end starter. The right-hander has a K-rate below 15% and is allowing 1.13 homers every nine innings despite a solid GB% and a 92MPH sinker.
Elsewhere, the Angels are in Cleveland, the Rangers host the Tigers, and Houston already lost to the Blue Jays.
