Good morning everyone! Today, as you know, is the last day before the beginning of the All-Star break. The news cycle should slow down considerably at that point, but let's see what's been going on in the days leading up to the break:

• In case you missed it, the Home Run Derby contestants were announced. The crew includes Robinson Cano and Corey Seager.
• Grant Brisbee proposes a Home Run Derby that would draw in loads of viewers.
• Josh Donaldson continues to improve, writes Dave Cameron.
• The Red Sox have added infielder Aaron Hill from the Brewers.
• Boston also netted reliever Brad Ziegler in a trade with the Diamondbacks.
• Ex-Mariners reliever Oliver Perez accomplished a batting feat that hadn't been done in some time.
• Matt Harvey is out for the season after choosing to undergo surgery.
• The Pirates have called up top prospect Josh Bell.
