June is over; the curse is lifted!
Recent-acquisition Wade LeBlanc will get his second start in a Mariner uniform, and if his previous outing (6.0 innings, 0 runs, 3 hits, 1 walk) is any indication, this could be a good night. Unfortunately, one start is about as small-sample-size as you can get.
It's a four-game series, so a win tonight would guarantee an even split. Despite going 10-18 in the month of June, the Mariners have managed to eke out wins in four of their last six games. Last night was fun, as the offense had some spark and Taijuan looked as good as anyone could ask for. If we're lucky, the biz may be on its way back.
