Sporcle Friday: Mariners hitters with 8+ HBP in a single season

Howdy, friends. Did you hear that Mike Zunino is back with the Mariners? (I bet you did!) Some people are pretty excited about this, while others are kinda grumpy. I don’t know that I love this move, but the Mariners do need a backup catcher and Mike doesn’t have any broken metacarpals so I suppose he’ll do just fine. Here’s hoping Zunino mashes some dingers and doesn’t swing at too many balls in the dirt.

In honor of Mike’s return, I wanted to pick a Sporcle topic related to something that he’s proven to be good at. As such, this week’s quiz asks you to name the Mariners hitters who’ve had eight or more HBP in a single season. This feat has been accomplished 39 times by 26 different individuals.
