06/24: Open Game Thread

Yo. As resident Lookout Landing Teen Intern, I am in no position to tell you what to do. But if you're here, there's a chance that you made the choice to spend your Friday night watching Seattle Mariners baseball with all of your internet (maybe real life?) baseball buds. You're doing good things, and I'm happy for you.

Seeing that it's Friday, I'm planning on loosening the tie a little and I will be watching the big game as well. The St. Louis Cardinals are in town. According to multiple sources, they have the best fans in baseball. I am not a man with many opinions, but I am going to choose to disagree with that.

Tonight isn't about how I feel, or my personal vendetta against St. Louis. Tonight is about the Seattle Mariner debut of Wade LeBlanc. The last time LeBlanc was on the mound, it was for a film called ED. He made a lifelong friend, wore Reebok and played for the Phillies(?)

LeBlanc went on to star in a very underrated show called Episodes where he played himself. Pretty cool if you have Showtime.

Anyway! It's Friday. It's baseball! It's easy to get caught up about the team playing lousy baseball, but let's open a bottle of Bud (or something classier) and at least try to find some entertainment in tonight's game.
