6/19: Open game thread

While sitting at Fenway yesterday I spotted a guy a few rows down from me wearing a customized Sox home jersey with the name PRICE above an emblazoned, red 24. Good lord, I laughed to myself, typical Red Sox arrogance. This guy wanted to get David Price on the beaneaters so bad he took an offseason trip down to the team store and dropped something in the range of four hundred dollars on the counter, wearing a smug smile as the clerk said "Papi? Pedroia? Mookie?" before finally responding with a cold and cruel DAAVID PRAHICE. Then, when it didn't happen, he realized he still spent gobs of money on this overpriced adult costume, so he was nevertheless forced to wear it every time he showed up to the ballpark. If not a cost-cutting routine, then a chance to cosplay as a living, walking GM Decision within the cathedral of the converted. I turned to my wife to tell her this and then she reminded me that David Price is indeed on the Red Sox.

I, of course, knew this, but I also didn't. So if the Mariners lose today, you'll know who to blame. Goddammit.
