Why, hello there. Welcome back to another Tuesday evening of white hot Seattle Mariners action. Tonight, the Mariners are at it again in Oakland to square off against the HATED Oakland Athletics.
Tonight's pitching match up is Hisashi Iwakuma and Sonny Gray. Kooms is going after his first win of the season and is fresh off a losing effort against the last place Houston Astros. Sonny Gray is coming off of a loss to the Kansas City Royals. The Vandy Dandy only managed two innings and gave up four earned runs. He also walked four, so if the Mariners C the Z, we could have some serious fun tonight.
Last night was fun. It was a Mariners victory in Oakland which always feel few and far between. The real prize in the cereal box last night was the fact that it was a game in Oakland that only went 9 innings, and it was a game in Oakland that didn't end at like 11PM. It feels like games that are played in O.Co (is it still O.co?) are played in some sort of science fiction time warp. I don't know enough about science fiction to make a reference, but is that some sort of Dr. Who thing? He stops time right?
I'll stop while I'm ahead.
