Happy Kuma Day! Just like we all planned! Even Kings get the flu, so night one of the Mariners three game set against the Angels kicks off with Iwakuma on the mound. Because Cleveland wouldn't let us go without another bout of sacrifice and sadness. Felix is tentatively scheduled to start tomorrow, provided he is feeling better. If not:
If Felix can't pitch Saturday, Servais indicated #Mariners likely to go with Montgomery...unless Montgomery pitches tonight.

Kuma had a rough go of it Sunday in the Bronx, pitching seven innings, but giving up four runs to the Yankees.
The Mariners have only faced right hander Tropeano twice, once when he was with the Astros in 2014 and again last September with the Angels in Safeco. He's filling in for injured starter Andrew Heaney, but has pitched well in his two starts, with a 0.84 ERA, and is 2-0 in his career starts against the Mariners. He's also right handed so hopefully this rag tag group of lefties will steamroll over him and make the Angels feel very sad about liking Mike Scioscia better than Jerry Dipoto. That wasn't very nice, Angels.
