Hello and welcome back! Another 3:10PM start, this will be a treat! The Cleveland Indians open up Progressive Field to the public, but more importantly The Seattle Mariners for a contest of Major League Baseball.

Tonight (today?) features a pitching matchup between Taijuan Walker and Danny Salazar. Salazar is coming off a pretty good season in 2015 and has had a nice start to 2016 which is something that nobody wants to hear.

Walker is coming off what will be probably known as the Dae-Ho Lee game last week. He looked fine, but he was really throwing a ton of fastballs. So look for him to try to mix his pitches today.

OTHER THINGS-

  • This team needs to start Cing the Z. They have been striking out a ton and have been giving up a fair share of walks.
  • Seager looks like he is turning things around going 2/4 with a HR and a single. Hopefully he carries that momentum into today’s game.
  • Mike Zunino did NOT hit a home run yesterday. Call off the dogs.
  • Chris Taylor did hit the El Paso Chihuahuas mascot with an errant throw last night. Let’s call him up.

You know after all of the these strike outs, I can't help but think of a power hitter we traded away to get Steve Clevenger. This is dedicated to you, Mark Trumbo.
