Happy Felix Day! Er, morning. Who is ready for some breakfast baseball? Grab your coffee and an appropriate brunch cocktail, and let's do this thing. After a very satisfying and psychologically necessary 7-1 victory over the Yankees, the Mariners will look to keep the good times rolling in the Bronx with Felix on the mound.
And what good times they have been. Felix is 6-2 with a 2.02 ERA in ten career starts at the stadiums Yankee. He's recorded quality starts in eight of those. Felix currently has a very nice 0.69 ERA and no wins. Wins are dumb, but baseball can be, too.
Mariners catcher Chris Iannetta had quite the night last night, reaching base four times.

Let's hope Chris and crew can keep it up against Sabathia, who has been a bit of trouble for us in the past. Kyle Seager, who has had some bad at-bats and whole lot of bad luck, will get the day off. Dae-Ho Lee will start at first because split science tells us so and we love science.
The sun is shining, the lollipops are ripe for picking, and our hearts are less heavy. Go get a win, grown human men who wear heavy belts while sporting.
Oh, and goms.
