4/12: Open game thread

Hey there everyone. How's the temp?

Today we get to watch Ol' Man Wade Miley toss the sphere against Them Damn Rangers as the M's look to end a four-game skid. Ketel Marte gets the night off, with Luis Sardinas slotting in to spell him at short. As well, with the lefty throwing, Guti DH's while Dae-Ho Lee gets another start at first. It's the sort of game (cold: April) where Miley's game should be well suited to keep runs off the board and the M's need to start hitting with RISP.

Minus over-using Mike Montgomery and some fluky early bloops, the Mariners should have had a much more competitive game last night. Tonight we hope, for our collective sanity, that they can turn the tide of the poor homestand.

This evening I think I'll switch up my typical gametime drink and going with a nice Syrah. Should be wild.
