Today, Taijuan Walker and a group of flu-drenched corpses will head over to Salt River Fields to take on the Colorado Rockies. Given the past couple of days, I'd be completely fine with throwing all of the Mariners into bubbles and locking them in Safeco until April 4th, but the thing about baseball is that it demands to be played in sickness and in health. To recap:

Maybe the Mariners are getting all of the bad luck that inevitably arises over the course of a 162 game season out of the way in Spring. Maybe McKay gave them all the flu as some sort of team building exercise. Maybe the Angels did it. I don't know.
