The Mariners lost a baseball game to the Diamondbacks and whatever

eh

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Gotta be quick because it's almost 2 AM here, but the Mariners lost. But whatever! Felix is fine, Ed Lucas hit a billion dingers, and the M's are heading into the real part of spring training where JOBS MATTER and STEVE CLEVENGER is a catcher! Ok, onto the bulletpoints.

  • Efren Navarro hit a home run dinger donger tonight. He also got an RBI in the second inning after Adam Lind and Steve Clevenger hit a dinger. Efren Navarro won't be a Mariner on August 4th but boy, isn't that sentence wonderful?
  • Felix is good and you are happy here is a thing:

  • Ketel walked, and Adam Lind walked. The Z was C'd! Man, that is going to get old soon. Instead, here, look at this:
  • The Mariners were good, and then after Mike Montgomery pitched in the fifth, it got bad. This doesn't matter, because it's spring training and you need to stop caring about any of this altogether whatsoever. My god, this needs to be over as soon as possible.
  • Vidal Nuno walked a guy and then got three quick outs. He only hit 88 and it was not the sexiest thing in the world, but that is fine because the bullpen is just killer and everyone is healthy. Tom Wilhelmsen is on the Rangers, by the way.
  • Robinson Cano had a hit, and Nelson Cruz, who finally reached base a few days ago, continued his slow spring. Literally none of this matters, it's late at night, and tomorrow I will write more important words. What really matters is that Felix begged Scott Servais for another inning tonight. Also this very bad tweet which is in no way shape or form Ryan Divish's fault, but you should maybe rage, rage against the dying of the light:
