3/18: Open game thread

Nate Karns will get another audition for the fifth rotation spot today as the Mariners take on a split squad Rangers team in Peoria.

It could prove to be an important start for Karns, particularly given James Paxton's underwhelming outing yesterday. Stefen Romero, who has continued his annual tradition of lighting up the Spring, will get the day off with upper back cramping. He'll try to play tomorrow.

And Charlie Furbush appears to be on the mend, not that we were worried or panicked or having night terrors or anything.
