Lockedout Landing S1 E3: Tryna Catch the Beat

I didn’t ever tell you to put down your hands.

Let’s sit this one out.

It is the middle of the week, the time your boy gets around to it, it’s time for Lookout Landing’s answer to a question that NOBODY asked, it’s time for Lockedout Landing. This is weekly proof that the offseason is too long. This will probably be a short one because we’re all stuck a bit in the hustle and bustle of the holidays and we’re smack dab in the middle of it. I couldn’t let the 23 and 77 down.

Shameless Plug

Yesterday, my best friend and resident hunk John Trupin announced that there will be a Lookout Landing Holiday House Party. This may come as a shock to you, but I am a man who enjoys a house party. Provided that we can get velvet ropes in time, I am planning on attending. This will be your one chance to give me a piece of your mind. I will have you know that I bruise easily, so don’t swing too hard.

Watchsaw

I saw the new Star Wars movie. It was fine, and I don’t really have anything to say about it because SW is not my lane. It was nice seeing Darth Vader in something that’s not a Verizon commercial.

Audiosaw

My wireless headphones broke on me at the gym so I ran Monday morning in complete silence. I hated the idea initially, but I highly recommend it. Keep your headphones on so nobody will bother you, but then get lost in your own thoughts.

MARINERSHOTTAKESAW

Doug Fister coming back is probably the best case scenario for the starting rotation.

Bonnie Raitt it Up

  • How far do you all have to travel this weekend?
  • This new Blade Runner going to be dope or what?
  • Now that we’re closing in on nine years without the NBA, have you found a team to follow, or are you still swearing off the league?
  • Do you have a hidden talent?

That’s it for this week. As always, questions and concerns can be directed to my handler on Twitter, @EthanNovak
