Sporcle Friday: MLB players drafted out of UW or WSU (happy Apple Cup!)

34 MLB players were drafted out of either UW or WSU. How many of them can you name?

Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

Hello, friends. I hope that everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving yesterday filled with cheer and loved ones and mashed potatoes and all that jazz. It really is a wonderful holiday.

But that was yesterday. Today is a Friday, November 25th, 2016, which means that today is the 109th Apple Cup! In recognition of one of the oldest rivalries in college sports, today's Sporcle asks you to name all of the MLB players who were drafted out of either the University of Washington or Washington State University. 13 former Huskies and 21 former Cougs managed to rise through the ranks of minor league ball and find themselves in the big leagues. WARNING: This quiz seems extraordinarily difficult. But maybe if you're a devout/crazed alumnus you'll be able to rattle a bunch of these off no problem?

Good luck, and go college football!

Note: These are only players who were drafted out of UW or WSU. If a player attended either of these schools but then moved on to somewhere else before being drafted they are not included. A player only had to make a single appearance in the big leagues to be included on this list, but lifetime minor leaguer are excluded.
