A few hours from now, Major League Baseball may pack it up and call it a season. I hate the offseason. It is cold and boring and lonely. We must push back against the inevitable end as long as we possibly can.
Go Cubs.

With their World Series dreams on the line, the Cubs turn to Jon Lester. Lester took the loss in Game One after surrendering three runs on six hits in 5.2 IP. Aside from that outing, he’s been brilliant in the postseason, allowing just three runs in 21.0 IP in his three other starts.
Cleveland will counter with Trevor Bauer, who is better at throwing baseballs than he is at repairing drones. He was limited to just 3.2 IP in his Game Two start, allowing two earned runs on six hits and two walks.
