Game Four is here!
After Cleveland and Chicago swapped wins by significant margins in the first two games, the Indians held on for a wild, 1-0 victory in Game Three to take the advantage. Now, just two wins away from their first title since 1948, Cleveland sends ace Corey Kluber to the mound.
Kluber has been brilliant in the postseason, surrendering just two runs while striking out 29 in 24.1 IP. In Game One of the World Series, he struck out nine batters en route to a six shutout inning performance.
The Cubs will counter with John Lackey, who has turned in two subpar outings so far this postseason (2 GS, 8 IP, 5 R, 5 BB, 7 K). This will be his first appearance of the series and his first appearance in a World Series since 2013 with the Boston Red Sox.
