Need for Offspeed: NLCS Open Game 2 Thread

Two of the NL's best pitchers will attempt to keep their opponents off-balance.

It is a bit redundant to describe this game as a matchup of aces, but this in fact just that. The Cubs boast three of the top ten starting pitchers in the National League by fWAR, and Kyle Hendricks, at 4.5, was narrowly their best. Unfortunately for the Lovable Losers (results may vary), they face the best pitcher in any league. Clayton Kershaw shut the door on the Nationals a few days ago and, technically, put to bed his much-hyped struggles in the later innings of games. He is now back on his normal rest schedule and will face one of the best offenses in baseball. Hendricks was hurt in his previous start by a sharp comebacker hitting him, but all reports indicate he should be all systems go.
