Ok so, yes, here I am at lookout landing dot com. Let me just go ahead and open up game thread editor and oh, oh my god:

Bittersweet

How and when and where is our summer? Six games!? Six!? We are down to the final week of Mariner baseball in 2015. I am so, so, so ready for 2016. The Mariners have a new General Manager, they (hopefully) will be expanding payroll allowing Jerry Dipoto the room to complete the retool as needed, and I'll always think of 2015 as even more of a "could have" season than 2014. It's time for this season to end.

But, still, six games!? I'm going to wake up in late November on a Tuesday and want to watch Franklin Gutierrez swing, Felix's curve, Cruz hit a ball to space, Marte round second.... Time. That son of a bitch.

I have no idea how to feel about this series. The Astros are obnoxious, and them missing the playoffs after spending all summer watching every hand come up blackjack would be funny. But, then, the damn Angels are probably in the playoffs. The Angels making the playoffs is one of only two things that makes Mike Scioscia smile (the other is balancing his checkbook) and Mike Scioscia's smile makes children wail and rivers turn to blood. This is difficult. Screw it.

Win, ya beautiful bastards.
