Happy Felix Day!

THERE IT IS, 2016, UP THERE
THERE IT IS, 2016, UP THERE
Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Gotta make this short as I'm on the run tonight. Tonight will, ostensibly, be the second-to-last Felix start of the season. If he wins, he ties his career best-19 wins. If he loses, well, tree, forest, nobody to hear it, etc.

In other news around the league, the Mets and Blue Jays clinched playoff spots today, which now leaves our very own Seattle Mariners with the longest active playoff drought in Major League Baseball. You could get mad about that, or you could think that maybe Felix will strike out Mike Trout a couple times today, and we still get to watch a Ketel and an O'Malley do their fancy things. Nothing? No? Can you even hear it beating deep in your hollow chest? Alright, let's try this:

Muuuuuch better.
