8/31: Open game thread

I was going to try and write a nice little preview today but then as I sat down to do it the Mariners traded Austin Jackson so instead you get this very truncated thread post.

I do not like Dallas Kuechel. His beard is overly affected and it annoys me. It's petty and dumb I know. He also leads baseball pitchers in fWAR at 5.8 which annoys me as well. The Astros for their part are fully on board and have a very cool and interesting promotional idea to celebrate the talented lefty:
