The Mariners will look to escape Boston this morning with at least one win, or at least one game in which they hold the AL-East last place Red Sox under fifteen runs. Since both MiMo and Felix had to be pulled early over the past couple of days, the bullpen this afternoon is yet again sparse, and Lloyd has announced that Montgomery will be available today in case of an emergency. It is his usual throw day, anyway.
Phew. I don't want to think about these awful games. Let's shoot for some good news, why don't we?
Furbush still not making progress in bullpens. Has been sent back to Seattle to be seen by doctor again.

Yikes. Uh...well, you know, even at its worst, baseball is beautiful. So pour out some coffee and enjoy your last early morning baseball series of the year. Soon it will be the offseason, and you'll be wishing you had some bad Mariners to watch instead of nothing at all. Or football, but you know how that goes around here.
