7/5: Open game thread

Well it's getaway day down at O.co this afternoon, and the Mariners will look to head back to Seattle with at least one more win against the Oakland A's, who are only...a half game...back...from...the...oh god I'm going to stop looking at this now.

Aaaannndddd instead we should get excited for Mike Montgomery, and remember it only cost one Erasmo Ramirez, giving us one more day a week to get excited about baseball than we had before. I've seen this movie before. James Jones is pencilled in for the leadoff spot, and with Ackley roaming left field this afternoon, we've got a classic 2014 Mariners game on your television. Let's just leave it at that and pretend we're in good shape.
