A huge series begins tonight in Oakland with a pair of tough left handed pitchers facing off. If you missed today's news well, um, Willie Bloomquist is gone. You can be happy. Or you can look back fondly. Or you can just, I don't know.
As a result of the roster move Chris Taylor take Bloomquist's spot on the 25 man and Brad Miller's spot in the lineup at shortstop. Is this a permanent move?
McClendon says Miller will remain primary shortstop despite Taylor's return to club.

So there is that. Pretty happy to hear that the team hasn't benched one of their better players. The Mariners have 11 games left until the All-Star break and they are in desperate need of a 9 out of 11 stretch. Those are hard. They are unlikely. But that's why you don't spend the 1st half digging a hole. Go win ya lovable dummies.
