Felix looks to continue his dominance in the Bronx as the M's take on CC Sabathia

Long may he reign.
Long may he reign.
Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

After yesterday's emotional rollercoaster of VERY FUN but then VERY SCARY but then PRETTY FUN AGAIN, the Mariners close out their series in the Bronx with our King and our other Mariners taking on a very well rested CC Sabathia and a bunch of other annoying Yankees. We won't talk about the last time Felix faced the Yankees because it wasn't very much fun, but we will talk about the fact that Felix is 5-1 with a 1.37 ERA in seven career starts in the Yankee stadiums old and new. Sunshine and lollipops indeed.

CC Sabathia last pitched on July 8 and has had an inconsistent season; he's 4-8 on the year with a 5.47 ERA. The real question is which Mariners bat will hit multiple dingers against the veteran. Seager and Cano have already taken their turns. Who will our new hero be? Jesus resurgent? Guti? Mark Trumbo (well maybe)? Dare I say, Mike Zunino (probably not)?

Grab some coffee and let's find out.

Go M's.
