More baseball for some reason

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Well one thing we could do is to pretend that yesterday didn't happen. In that case WELL HOWDY-DOODY look at this here, we get a real gol' durned baseball game between the Seattle Mariners and the New York Yankees! The Mariners sure had a rough first half of the season, but that's okay because now they can put on their big-boy pants and push for a wild card spot, which will be available to them if they only start playing well and finish the season going 48-25 49-24 oh god this is not going well.

Okay so in this second game of the second half it's going to be Hisashi Iwakuma facing off against a bunch of dumb Yankees and some guy named Michael Pineda, who you don't really want to be bothered about so I will just say that he's going to be teed off against today. Lloyd continues his...interesting lineup shuffling, and while we could complain about that we should be honest with ourselves in that we are complaining about literally everything else, so maybe we should "hey look at this shiny thing" that today. Time for coffee.
