Happy Happ Day?

Jennifer Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Well, the Mariners will be looking to crawl back to .500 this afternoon as J.A. Happ takes the hill against the Cleveland Indians, winners of seven out of their ten last games and longtime gnats on the horse's ass that is the Seattle Mariners. The good news is that with the exception of getting perfecto'ed, the Mariners have already experienced just about the worst possible baseball fates against this franchise, so even a loss today wouldn't be the end of the world. And it's not only the impossible comeback--if you recall, these bastards simultaneously ending the catching career of Jesus Montero and blew up Tom Wilhelmsen in a 2013 series that sunk the entire season by mid-May. So let's win! Or lose! Anything other than what's already happened! Please!
