3/9: Open game thread

More baseball today, as we'll see if the Mariners can bounce back after getting trounced yesterday afternoon. Taijuan Walker is scheduled to start and throw three innings, attempting to build off the excellent debut he had last week. There's a lot of quality names in the starting lineup today, including both Brad Miller and Chris Taylor.

It's interesting to note that Miller has only played in two games so far, while Taylor has appeared in four. Today, Miller is at short while Taylor plays second base, a position he'll likely have to play a good amount of if he heads back to AAA with Ketel Marte. Although, judging by his performance so far (and the monster bomb he hit last week), he has no intentions of doing so. Hooray for battles where stats don't matter but still mean something!
