James Paxton vs CARLOS PEGUERO

the good ol days
the good ol days
Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, fellow baseball fan! We've got another fun-filled day of Seattle Mariners baseball ahead of us, and if you happen to be spending your Sunday in that aforementioned city, then get off your computer right now and head down to 3201 1st Avenue South, where you can have a very real and tangible Open Game Thread with real live human beings!

Of course, if you are not in Seattle, then I guess you have an excuse to stay right here and talk about this here baseball game like it was any other day. So what do we have? Well, we'll be seeing 4 innings of James Paxton, caught by Jesus Sucre. We'll be seeing an otherwise typical mid-season Mariners lineup dominated by lefties with the possibility of righty dingers from Nelson Cruz. We even get to see ol' Carlos Peguero roaming the grass out in right field!

Woah, that doesn't sound like a recipe for a good afternoon! Well then, why don't you take a closer look at that lineup and remember what once was, what is now, and that maybe we actually do deserve this.
