Good morning everyone and welcome to the last day of 2015! I hope everyone has an excellent New Year. Before that arrives though, here's some light reading as 2015 draws to a close:
- Cuban pitcher Yaisel Sierra has been granted free agency.
- The Yankees pulled off a bold move, acquiring closer Aroldis Chapman.
- The White Sox and Orioles appear to be the current frontrunners for Yoenis Cespedes.
- The Nationals have agreed to a one-year deal with infielder Stephen Drew.
- In an effort to have every left-handed starter in baseball, the Dodgers have signed Scott Kazmir to a three-year contract.
- Bobby Dews, a longtime coach for the Braves, sadly passed away recently.
